Love will prevail Pt 4
I love EDX courses and share with love this experience, it provides you the opportunity to enhance and increase your knowledge, and it challenges you to be better. Recently, I decided to enroll again, and love sharing highlights. There are some quite interesting courses and one of them intrigued me the most, it is with HarvardX called Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles with Ronald Heifetz, M.D. Founder, Center for Public Leadership, King Hussein Bin Talal Senior Lecturer in Public Leadership and Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He states “ I began teaching at Harvard in 1983, one of the only other places that taught leadership in the United States was the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Since then, leadership development has become an industry. You can study it almost anywhere, but, like many areas of study when they first burst open and grow quickly, the study of leadership has not yet become a discipline.”
In a recent conversation bit, a friend commented about a radio program. The program mentioned whereas the people, excel on special days to be their utmost, and even perhaps perfection arises… meaning we behave the best because of a particular date of celebration, and the next day everybody goes back to being the same as if nothing happened… Forgetting the reflection of what we surrendered and realizing that it is a brand new day to rise, to excel, and to be better. It is an everyday celebration, life is an everyday celebration. Children looking for parents, seeking to learn every second, as they absorb everything that applies to their five senses, for parents seeking their past, correcting and Moving Forward, and even between friends and humbleness bringing reconciliation bringing wholeness to every single family. These last three writings have been about the word “Praeeminere” meaning to “rise above or excel.” Days of unity, days of bringing together families, and still more to come as for some the end of the year approaches, for others it happens at other times.
It was interesting to connect points as I started the course, the following question referring to leadership was posted to be answered and submitted Do you have a method for diagnosing (better understanding a problem) and taking action? What do you do? What challenges have you encountered? the answers are personal, but I wanted to share the following as I thought about it applied personally, the word leadership is actually a beautiful word, I love exploring the etymology of the word which states: “Leadership comes from two words: leader which derives into the capacity to guide or to lead a ship, to have “characteristics necessary to be a leader, capacity to lead. Meaning “writing or statement meant to begin a discussion or debate”. Ship: which means “word-forming element meaning “quality, condition; act, power, skill; office, position; the relation between,” to create, ordain, appoint”.- from Etymolyonline
In a ship you have many skillful people working, therefore it takes a team to create magic for it to move forward. A leader is necessary, however, let’s formulate what a leader is … I place it as a rhythm maker, a guide, and a tutor so the ship may sail easily in all sorts of waters. I work as a Corporate Recruiter yet, I am an independent contractor meaning I own my company and was hired to work for the company I am in today. I also do seminars to Impact lives and was a coordinator, educating teachers to work with students as well as a teacher in groups such as EFLT, and ESLT teachers for different schools.
The encounters in all these fields are similar, whether it is in the position of a corporate recruiter. It is to present a product and make people fall in love with the company and the products. As an educator, I lead people to fall in love with their needs in their hearts to fulfill their biggest desires. The biggest challenge is crossing over and seeing a bigger perspective of what we do and what we can achieve, pushing boundaries to be better. In the Insurance industry, it would be teamwork, to make money, grow groups, and train them to sell for them to become bigger companies and manage more income flow. In Education, the biggest challenge is to open the eyes of young people and even adults to see the beauty that lies in their hearts and that resonates with their souls, challenge their past, forgive, and surpass the barrier so they may find balance, even balance with our Heavenly Father. Once those points are covered, it becomes suitable, and more comfortable for them to move on.
Whereas emotion is a big word, we live in a world that can be overwhelming and it can swallow a person in an instant. However, once the emotions are in balance it makes it more easy and flexible to work on just about anything… even, if you do not have the knowledge. The same in education, it is how the educator focuses in his/her groups to make a better opportunity for every child, young, young adult, and even adult. Definitely, it is surpassing what confronts them to be better.
Sharing as a testimony, the biggest challenge in what I do… as a corporate recruiter is the ups and downs of the market, but, no excuse there. It is an everyday moving forward situation and sometimes you give a little and let a little. Yet, there is always a solution called persistence and perseverance and a good companion always at my side, a Father Almighty who is always with me. In him, I have learned to be all the time constant, understanding emotions throughout the process. Part of the process is also knowing your goodness, kindness, and love can go further beyond, seeing how as an example for me, my heart was touched, given opportunities, and had an extending hand to fly by special people, people whose world surrounds them with other helping you to do everything in your basic needs and still triumphant in what they do. Therefore, I share and care for others as it was done for and given to me a beautiful gift.
You see, we are Human beings that have our 5 senses very open, therefore as an example: We see a plate of colorful food, well organized or decorated plate that we fall in love with, we lift our fork, and the knife cuts into a juicy meat…in that moment we have already savored it in our mouth, activating many particles to adjust to the food we are eating. So when we sell, promote, how we speak, how we see, all our senses… the eyes fall in love with the colors, the ears listen to a soothing voice that provides us with “sounds that travel through your ear canal, the eardrum vibrates, providing a low, middle, or high tone sound. These motions activate neurons in your hearing nerve, also called the auditory nerve.” So, this means your pitch of voice makes a difference in how you present yourself.
I found that in the middle of situations or difficulties, you analyze and take action, which makes you reflect and challenges in changing whether it is the attitude, pitch of voice, and correct tactical mistakes as you go. Human Beings collect or “sends 11 million bits per second to the brain for processing, yet the conscious mind seems to be able to process only 50 bits per second.” Being eyes the biggest receptor, touch follows, listening, smelling, and tasting. So acting in the reflection of the moment provides a better understanding of the problem and resolving throughout the reflection providing a wider and open creativity to capture the focus of the moment.
Being my eyes the biggest receptor, touch follows, listening, smelling, and tasting. I saw many wonders, miracles, courage, valor, morals, and values in the smallest of things as in the biggest of things, listened and still listened to extraordinary people, always receptive to learning. But, today I was reminded not to step down from the cross, hope never ends, and the beauty of eternal life. This reminder is from a special person who implemented change in my person and brought that firmness into my life when I was young. A person who fought for youth… a special, triggered memory from when I was 15. How powerful is the sweetness of love? Today, I happened to come upon a video on YouTube of one of the most beloved popes there has been, Pope Jean Paul II. It is interesting how Father Almighty works, he places many ways to speak to us. I started to watch. You see, as a testimony I went to two different schools one was the American School and the second was a catholic school Spellman School(all ladies school) for some time and then back to the American school, later graduated here in Florida. You see a friend recently posted something about being Catholic or going to Church school and she is right… how would we have learned, specially if you go from a male/female school not defined in religion to a female school all religion with uniforms and later back to male/female and finally graduate in a school that had no religion…interesting view to it.However, my friend is right… if we were not introduced, luckily I had parents who spoke about God, and we went to church and I do not mean only by catholicism. Today, I am a Christian but I learned a lot in my catholic school. I have loved God my whole life, since childhood as written even before school. As part of the Catholic school, we were part of different events and one of them was to make a chain that was holding arms for when Pope Jean Paul II passed by, it was really a huge event, as a teenager that touched my heart and brought a beautiful brightness just to hear him speak about Father Almighty and his wonders as well. As I watched the YouTube video that reflected upon the popes’ life, many memories poured down. A man who left you perplexed just showing the power that God has on us, the power of forgiveness that only God can provide in his heart as he forgave the person who shot him and even visited him. The changes he did in this world, the power of humbleness that showed him in good and in sick, he never came down the cross. Leaders, such a word, it is not in the power of men itself, but it rests in the humbleness that God provides every single person to make a better world in sharing and caring. I reflected on the word leadership and the assignment, humble does not take away power, it provides wisdom to be better, and want better for others bringing such achievements, it brings wonders and mysteries, even ministries. I reflected on a part of “the about” of the course I enrolled of Ronald Heifetz, M.D Our professor said “The field is still young, I cannot tell you that what I am going to present in this course is the one true way of understanding how to lead and survive the dangers of change. For now, I am introducing you to a work in progress in an area of study that is still gradually growing, and it will be up to you to test out the utility of these ideas. I want to reflect on this last part from him “You have to be a tough customer when you explore anyone’s work on leadership.” We are all customers, customers defined by Merriam-Webster Online dictionary meaning “an individual usually having some specified distinctive trait”.
You see, I speak a lot about My Father in heaven, God Almighty, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and I definitely apply my belief, my hope, and faith in my work, in my training in everything I do or say…there is no perfection, nor saintliness, just a humble servant. Yet, today I reflect that I have driven around and seen many churches, many denominations, religions, and so much more, people whose morals, and virtues have gone down the tubes, today I have spoken to many people about how desperate they are to seek of food and water of life to fulfill their thirst and hunger, to feel complete. People who look for growth in education and even in their lives. They need leadership, they are in need seeking people to make a difference, people to place an effort and make a difference in their or others’ lives. There is a thirst and hunger to know the truth, but to get to the truth, there is a need of courage, and valiancy to be accomplished to search. and in that search is the learning. Be able to prevail which defined means “widespread in a particular area at a particular time; be current.”. As memories poured about Pope Jean Paul II. He was loved by all, because he accepted everybody. He mentioned that “God is for everybody”, a God that brings Hope and eternal life to all, and always believes, but the most important point that I loved and treasured from him, was to work on our youth, and young adults, it is the inheritance of this beautiful place called earth and through their senses, they learn but most of all through their eyes they see and ear listen, the question is in the core example we provide. I speak about those who serve, I speak about youngsters, and heard many things since youth till today, love what people do to serve it is about heart and heart is not weakness but the courage, courage to confront, and place their life in front of others, be valiant and move to seek better because what they lived was not easy, or courage to defeat that life was to easy and have a purpose. As I wrote before “In many ways, people influence others to be better, to become stronger, and achieve dreams. Every person has a different story, and many testimonies on how their life has changed as they embarked on different journeys. I love people who help others, especially young adults in becoming the most they can be. It is not only about young adults, but those who have served as they made, make, and will make a difference in our future. Such tributes represent unity, totality, wholeness, and inclusion. Thankful for those who extend a helping hand”. I learned from Pope Jean Paul II, courage, valiancy, forgiveness, his profound love for God and to see the Glory of God in all people. No matter what denomination, religion, what, where, when, how… youth is what truly matters and are in their hearts desperate to learn, desperate to become leaders, that need of positive guidance, open to receive and not be loose and lost but to be found, awakened, even for better growth and opportunity to explore in their hearts and in the future, to trust. For me, for them to seek and trust God.
We take the best of what we have learned and make the most of it, we are in freedom of growing, searching, persisting, learning, and achieving what we seek in our hearts, our souls seek growth. A time for better communication, follow the compass provided morning or evening, dusk or dawn”. It has not stopped, it is finding that pledge, there are no walls, no language, no barriers, no obstacles that can confront what you have resting in you, seek and you will find, let that light be your compass from North to South, East to West, for nature, for self,, for wisdom, for divine, influence others to be better, to become stronger and achieve their dreams. For God will use you as a vessel however you are in good or bad standing, healthy or sick, and make that person and yourself better. Take a Stand: Smile, touch a heart, and place a smile on others.
Let us love each other, we all have our files at Father Almighty table and we will walk on our own to his tribune. to his table, naked with nothing and our file sits at his table and it has been graded. Alone we will be measured and judged only by our Father for our lives in this beautiful place. Let us love, share and care as much as we can. As my brothers and sisters from Pueblo de Dios always say “Good day” to all whether day or night as my heavenly Fathers light never dies but is always awake and with and withing us at all times”
Here is a beautiful loved quote from Pope Jean Paul II “The more ready you are to give yourself to God and to others, the more you discover the authentic meaning of life.” “Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
Will you help me Pray: Oh Heavenly Father, I humble myself on this day for every marriage, for every circumstance happening in each home. Touch each heart, you are a Father who can transform, that can change, can bring hope to where there is no hope. Father, you can open the door to transformation and you can change hearts I have seen it Father. Today, I humbly ask every Brother and Sister to pray for many souls, souls that have passed in suffering especially women from the past in West Virginia, suffering souls so they may find peace and forgiveness in their lives for what was done to them with no excuse, for what was taken away from them since 1913 and on just so they would be quiet, submitting them to all sorts treatment so they would not talk or apply their intellectuality, or let them be, for all that fought there, so they may find light and be released to Heaven. On this day, I thank you, because I know that you are doing your work in different households, uniting people and changing where there is no love bringing light and love. I ask you, again for the children, youngsters, and teenagers, for their hearts, patience, and love so that every parent can open their eyes and pay attention, to take time to speak to them and know what is going on inside their hearts bringing peace and contentment. For those who are ill at home or in hospitals that your mantle of healing falls upon them and let the angels of healing, angels of consolation be with them on your will Father. Bless and protect those who missing so your mighty hand falls upon them and they come home safely. Thank you, Father, because you are always with us listening and we place this in your hands in Jesus’ name Amen Amen

What came down from the Bible: BibleGateway
“God is looking for a people who will worship him in “spirit and truth” John 4:23 In the place of worship we not only see God but also our sin in comparison to a holy God. Then we worship him by repenting and pouring out our will and desires at his feet in prayer, asking that his will be done. In return, we receive his eternal and transformative purposes for us. In worship, we have a vital key to personal change. True worship presupposes a life of submission to the Lordship of Christ. It expresses our total devotion to God because of his love and love for Him and a consuming passion to please Him in everything.”Spiritual Warfare Bible RSV 1960
Matthew 25:34-36 NIV “34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom(A) prepared for you since the creation of the world.(B) 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,(C) 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me,(D) I was sick and you looked after me,”
Matthew 5:NIV “6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.(A)” John 14:21 NIV “21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
1John 1:5 “5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all”
Mark 16:15 NIV

1 Corinthians 3:11 NIV
11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Hosea 6:3 Amplified Bible
3
“So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him].His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn,And He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain,Like the spring rain watering the earth.”
2 John 4-6 MSG
4-6 I can’t tell you how happy I am to learn that many members of your congregation are diligent in living out the Truth, exactly as commanded by the Father. But permit me a reminder, friends, and this is not a new commandment but simply a repetition of our original and basic charter: that we love each other. Love means following his commandments, and his unifying commandment is that you conduct your lives in love. This is the first thing you heard, and nothing has changed.
Proverbs 21:21MSG
